For two decades, Bobbi Jo Hart has dedicated herself to passionately directing intimate and personal documentaries, often venturing alone to capture the most authentic and heartfelt moments with her subjects.

Her latest award-winning feature documentary, Rebels On Pointe, follows in the footsteps of her previous critically acclaimed film, I Am Not a Rock Star, which has been showcased at numerous prestigious international film festivals worldwide, including the Thessaloniki Film Festival, the Palm Springs International Film Festival, the Vancouver International Film Festival, and the Krakow Film Festival, among others.

Throughout its festival run, Rebels On Pointe has garnered numerous accolades, including two Canadian Screen Awards for Best Performing Arts Documentary and Best Editing, as well as a nomination for Best Direction. This impressive recognition has led to the film being picked up by various global networks, such as the Documentary Channel, BBC4, and SVT, and subsequently released on various video-on-demand platforms, including iTunes, Amazon, Google Play, and more.
