In recent years, Degus has directed and produced the feature film No Place Like Home, also known as Awaken, starring Gabrielle Anwar, Henry Ian Cusick, and Dave Baez, and is currently preparing to direct his new film, based on an original screenplay he wrote.
Early in his career, Degus held the position of Head of Production at Chanticleer Films, where he was responsible for producing, post-producing, and overseeing the creation of over forty 35mm shorts, many of which received Academy Award nominations.
