Biography

Bloody F Mess has been actively involved in the music scene since the early days of 1983, when he began screaming the blues. His initial foray into the world of music was with the hardcore punk/thrash band Chips Patroll, which he later renamed to The Unaccepted. Notably, the band shared the stage with influential acts such as The Necros and M.I.A., touring extensively across America.

In 1985, Bloody Mess co-founded Bloody Mess & Hate, a group that would go on to perform throughout the country and collaborate with the renowned underground musician GG Allin. Bloody even delivered a spoken word set during GG's Hated in The Nation tour, which unfortunately came to a tragic end in Dallas, Texas, with GG being stabbed.

The following year, 1988, saw the formation of Bloody Mess & The Skabs. The band signed with Black & Blue Records and released a string of 7-inch records, albums, and CDs. The group's debut record featured artwork by the infamous serial killer John Wayne Gacy, which sparked national attention and led to the band being banned from numerous clubs, halls, and parties due to their destructive stage shows and chaotic behavior.

Bloody Mess later transitioned to a full-time radio gig as Reverend Derek Moody, hosting a show from 6-Midnights in Bloomington for three years. From 2010 to early 2012, he toured and recorded with Bloody Mess & The Hollowbodys.

In 2013, Bloody made his film debut in Bar B Gurlz, and he also composed a song for the British horror musical Spidarlings.
