Blade's paternal grandfather, Herb Rogers, was a renowned theatre producer who successfully produced over 500 large-scale professional Equity shows, leaving a lasting impact on the world of theatre. Blade's father, Scott Rogers, is a highly respected acting coach for film and television, while his mother, Jeanne Rogers (also known as Jean Bardwell),is a talented New York actress and drama teacher, who was trained by the legendary acting teacher Sanford Meisner.
From a young age, Blade was fascinated by professional theatre and would often watch shows from backstage, knowing that he would one day be involved in the industry. However, he also wanted to forge his own path and create his own opportunities. Currently residing in Hawaii, Blade has had the opportunity to showcase his talents in various projects. He played a lead role in the 2004 independent film "Paradise Dreams" at the Hawaii International Film Festival and recently completed a guest starring role as Ian in the new TV series "Flight 29 Down" for NBC/Discovery Channel. Additionally, he has taken on more challenging roles, such as playing Mercutio in Shakespeare's "Romeo & Juliet", which he performed in Honolulu.
In addition to his acting pursuits, Blade is also a skilled musician. He has a deep passion for music and spends his free time listening to it, playing it, and writing it. He taught himself to play the guitar at the age of 11 and now plays guitar and sings in not one, but two local rock bands. Blade is also proficient in playing the violin, ukulele, drums, and a variety of other instruments. Furthermore, he has won gold and silver medals in statewide Jiu-jitsu tournaments and trains with World Renowned Jiu-jitsu Master Relson Gracie.
