Biography

Person Biography:

William "Billy" Yeager, born September 6, 1957, in Hollywood, Florida, is a multifaceted individual who has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry. As a singer-songwriter, musician, actor, and filmmaker, he has written, produced, and directed several low-budget independent feature films.

Billy Yeager's passion for music began at the age of 6 when he picked up his father's guitar and taught himself to play. He started writing music at the age of 11 and was later discovered by Grammy Award Winner Bruce Hornsby. He has recorded music with renowned musicians such as the Inner Circle Band, Ira Sullivan, and Jaco Pastorius.

Billy Yeager's life has been filmed since he was 8 years old by his aunt Bunny Yeager, and some of the footage was edited into a fictional film called "Jimmy's Story." The film tells the story of Jimmy Story, who dyes his skin black and creates music that is considered to be the Lost Bolero tapes of Jimi Hendrix, convincing the press internationally that he is the illegitimate son of Jimi Hendrix.

As an artist, Billy Yeager has a strong sense of purpose and has challenged the audience's perception of fame and success, as well as society's obsession with celebrities. He has also exposed the media and the press that promote sensational news and trivial matters to the public.

Throughout his career, Billy Yeager has produced and directed several films, including "The Florida Highwaymen," a documentary about the famous Florida folk artists, and "A Perfect Song," a film about a man who seeks God's will for his life. He has also created a film trilogy called "Jesus of Malibu," which follows the characters Mindy and Jesus on their quest for truth.

Billy Yeager's most recent film, "Sebastian Beach One Fine Day," premiered in 2012 at the NYC Surf Film Festival, and his documentary "The Film That Changed The World" won the Most Inspirational Movie Award at the Red Dirt International Film Festival in 2015.

Billy Yeager is the nephew of the legendary 1950's pin-up and photographer, Bunny Yeager, who made Bettie Page famous. He has also taught film acting from 1998 to 2001 and established the nation's first on-camera, on-location acting class.

Billy Yeager's mission is to raise consciousness and help those who cannot help themselves. He continues to create art, music, and films to change the world.
