William Tilk was born in South Bend, Indiana, prior to his family's relocation to Grand Haven, Michigan, and later Edmond, Oklahoma. As the son of Christina (Smith) Paul, an elementary school teacher, and William Lee Tilk, an air traffic controller, Billy's ancestry dates back to the Mayflower and New Amsterdam, tracing his European heritage.
During his formative years, William was actively involved in music, theatre classes, and acting classes, showcasing his early talent. At the tender age of ten, he was cast in his first feature film, marking the beginning of his foray into the entertainment industry. As he grew older, he became increasingly involved in sports and martial arts, developing a strong foundation in these areas.
William's academic pursuits led him to earn a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology (Exercise Science) from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2004. This educational background has undoubtedly contributed to his well-rounded skill set.
In addition to his academic achievements, William holds a black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and a 3rd degree black belt in Shotokan Karate/Tae Kwon Do, a testament to his dedication to martial arts.
Subsequently, William relocated to Dallas, Texas, to further his passion for drama and acting by enrolling in classes, workshops, film, and television productions. His consistent practice of acting and martial arts led him to explore stunt work, a career path he has been pursuing since early 2009.
Currently, William resides in Los Angeles, California, where he continues to hone his craft, drawing upon his diverse skill set and extensive experience in the entertainment industry.
