He went on to take on leading roles in regional theaters across the country, including The Arena Stage, The Actor's Theatre of Louisville, The Huntington Theater in Boston, and South Coast Repertory.
Bill's then agent moved to Los Angeles, prompting him to follow and start a career in film and television. He has since played a wide range of characters, including cops, killers, and bad guys on TV shows such as LA Law, Touched By an Angel, and UC Undercover. He has also appeared in numerous films, including The Crow: Salvation, I Spy, and Miracle.
In addition to his on-camera work, Bill has also established a successful voice-over career. His first voice-over job was narrating a series of AM radio medical ads for an editor friend. Since then, he has narrated numerous shows, including Missing Persons: The First 48 on A&E, Last Day of the Dinosaurs on Discovery, and The Hunt for Dark Matter on CuriosityStream.
