Bernhard Kellermann

Bernhard Kellermann, a renowned writer and director, embarked on his journey of creativity on March 4, 1879, in the charming city of Fürth, nestled within the picturesque region of Bavaria, Germany. As the years unfolded, Kellermann's artistic endeavors gained momentum, culminating in the production of several notable films, including the critically acclaimed "Der Tunnel" in 1915, as well as its remakes in 1933. Throughout his life, Kellermann was fortunate enough to share his experiences with two loving partners, Else Michaelis and Mabel Giberson, who stood by his side through the ebbs and flows of his remarkable career. Sadly, Kellermann's time on this earth came to a close on October 17, 1951, in the tranquil town of Klein Glienicke, situated within the borders of Potsdam, Brandenburg, Germany, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire and captivate audiences to this very day.
