Born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, Eric Duvalier's creative journey began at a tender age of 11, when he co-wrote his first stage play, captivating his audience with a passion that would only grow stronger with time. As he delved deeper into the world of performance, music became a stable profession, allowing him to tour, collaborate with various ensembles, and even teach Latin Percussion and accompany modern dance schools as a percussionist, utilizing his impressive skills on five conga drums.
Over the years, Duvalier's artistic pursuits expanded, and he went on to write and co-write over 20 screenplays, two television series, and a volume of monologues and poetry. His compositional skills also flourished, resulting in the creation of 50 songs. Moreover, he produced a feature film, two feature-length documentaries, and four short projects, showcasing his versatility and dedication to his craft.
With a strong foundation in stage, film, and television work, Duvalier studied with the renowned Eve Collyer, further honing his skills. His current focus lies in film and television projects, and he works closely with Agent Albert Bramante and Manager Ken Park in NYC, as well as a few commercial and voice-over agencies.
Throughout his career, Duvalier has tackled a wide range of projects, including the nominated feature-length documentary "Fireworks On The Brain," which humanizes ADHD, and the award-winning dark comedy "Mobfathers: Permanent Rehab." His impressive repertoire also includes a five-part documentary series on art and artists, a two-hour updated version, three short films, and a sequel to "Mobfathers" titled "Mobfathers, Dance With the Devil."
With several projects in development, including an international dramatic love story, a comedy television series, and a major television crime series set in NYC, Duvalier is actively seeking the right outlet to bring his creations to the general public. His linguistic skills include proficiency in English, Dutch, German, and various dialects, making him a versatile artist capable of adapting to diverse projects and audiences.
