Biography

Ben Shockley, a multifaceted individual, was born in Hythe, Kent, England. He is an accomplished actor, director, producer, and writer, with a career spanning numerous mediums.

As an actor, Ben has made a name for himself through his roles in On The Ropes, Vendetta, and The Blazing Cannons. He is the son of Alan and Elsie White, and his early career began with appearances in Rep and sketch comedy.

Ben's television credits include Spatz, Streetwise, Crime Monthly, and The Bill, before he transitioned to stage plays and shows. He has toured extensively throughout the UK and Ireland, as well as appearing at the San Francisco Fringe festival, The Edinburgh Festival, and in the West End, where he worked alongside notable actors such as David Tennant, Andy Serkis, Mark Benton, and Rupert Graves in Hurlyburly.

Ben's filmography is extensive, with over a dozen short films under his belt. He has played bit parts in independent feature films Written in Blood and Left for Dead, and has since appeared in numerous feature films, including independent and mainstream productions.

In 2005, actor and filmmaker Ken Colley approached Ben to play a lead role in his feature film directorial debut, Greetings. Since then, Ben has taken on lead roles, character parts, and bit parts in feature films such as Ten Dead Men, Dark Secrets, Counterfeit Butterfly, Bad Day, Bloodmyth, Dark Rage, The Firm, The Shouting Men, On The Ropes, Death, and Vendetta.

Ben has also had the opportunity to work with notable actors such as Lou Ferrigno, Gary Daniels, Sarah Harding, Linal Haft, Paul Freeman, Danny Dyer, Mark Benton, and Craig Fairbrass. He co-starred in the short film All In A Days Work with Mark Benton and co-wrote, co-directed, and co-starred in the feature film The Blazing Cannons.

Ben's upcoming projects include the feature film Darkheart Manor, in which he plays a lead role, and the feature film Dan Hawk Psychic Detective, in which he plays the lead and is co-directing and writing. The latter film features a talented cast, including Kenneth Colley, Steven Arnold, James Payton, and Joe Egan.
