Ben Selkow, p.g.a., is a highly acclaimed documentary film and non-fiction television director, executive producer, showrunner, and creative consultant, with a diverse range of work exhibited on various prominent platforms.
He has been recognized with numerous prestigious awards and nominations, including Primetime and News & Docs Emmy nominations, for his work on documentaries and docu-series that have been showcased on esteemed networks such as Netflix, HBO, Nat Geo, CNN, Sundance TV, Discovery, Participant Media, PBS/America ReFramed, Esquire Network, and more.
Ben has recently produced the documentary "Being Mary Tyler Moore" for HBO, which received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Documentary Special. He has also co-founded Good Trouble Studios, a boutique production company, alongside filmmaker James Adolphus.
In his previous roles, Ben served as co-executive producer of the HBO and Adamy McKay-produced docu-series "Q: Into the Storm" and "The Invisible Pilot", and as executive producer and director on S1 of the News & Docs Emmy-nominated Nat Geo docu-series, "Trafficked with Mariana van Zeller".
