Ben, a multifaceted filmmaker, hails from London, yet his formative years were spent traversing the globe, with stints in Singapore, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Australia, and Bath.
Following his academic pursuits, Ben earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Kings College London, whereupon he dedicated a year to establishing a production house alongside friends. This venture yielded a plethora of creative outputs, including short films, music videos, and advertisements for political organizations. The culmination of this endeavor was a televised gig that inadvertently covered the cost of his first term at the London Film School.
Ben's mid-course film, "Dinner and a Movie," garnered significant recognition, earning official selections at the Palm Springs Shortfest 2013, the London Short Film Festival 2013, and the Edinburgh Film Festival 2013. This impressive feat earned him the distinction of being hailed as a "British director of tomorrow."
In recent years, Ben's short film "Russian Roulette" has made a notable impression, claiming the jury prize at the Sundance London short film competition.
