BD Wong, a renowned actor, was born and raised in the vibrant city of San Francisco, California, where his journey in the world of entertainment began. His Broadway debut was a remarkable one, as he starred in the iconic play "M. Butterfly". Wong's exceptional talent earned him a prestigious honor, as he became the only actor to be awarded the Tony Award, Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics Circle Award, Clarence Derwent Award, and TheaterWorld Award for the same outstanding performance.

Prior to his Broadway success, Wong made his mark in television, starring in the popular series "All-American Girl" in 1994. His versatility as an actor was further showcased through his guest appearances on the beloved children's show "Sesame Street" in 1969 and the critically acclaimed series "The X-Files" in 1993.
