Bas Jan Ader, a multifaceted individual of great creative talent, entered the world on April 19, 1942, in the charming Dutch town of Winschoten, Netherlands. As a director and actor, he left an indelible mark on the world of film, with his notable works including the poignant and thought-provoking "Broken Fall: Organic" (1971),the equally impressive "Broken Fall: Geometric" (1971),and the deeply personal and emotional "I'm Too Sad to Tell You" (1971).
Tragically, his life was cut short in 1975, when he met his untimely demise in the vast and unforgiving expanse of The Atlantic Ocean.
