Barry, a talented individual, hails from the United Kingdom, where he pursued his passion for fine art at Canterbury Christ Church University. Prior to his artistic endeavors, Barry served as a Combat Medical Technician with the Royal Army Medical Corps, bringing his medical expertise to the British Military.
In 2006, Barry made the bold decision to relocate to Australia, where he currently resides in Melbourne. He has established himself as a Senior Anaesthetic Assistant in the Operating Theatre, applying his medical knowledge to ensure the smooth operation of surgical procedures.
However, Barry's love affair with acting began shortly after his arrival in Australia, when he found himself feeling lonely and in need of a new challenge. He joined a local extra/background agency, hoping to meet new people and explore his creative side. When the opportunity arose to play a military personnel in a feature film, Barry jumped at the chance, discovering a newfound passion for acting.
As he continued to hone his skills through various short films, TV day player roles, and acting & direction classes, Barry's build and ability to bring a character to life led him to be typecast in roles that require a tough, rugged, or intimidating presence. He has played characters such as thugs, hoods, and stand-over guys, showcasing his impressive range.
Despite his tough-guy persona, Barry is, in reality, a kind and friendly individual who is eager to explore the world of comedy. With his unique blend of medical expertise, military background, and acting talent, Barry is a versatile performer with a bright future ahead.
