Barry Diller is the esteemed Chairman and Senior Executive of IAC, as well as the Chairman and Senior Executive of Expedia Group. Throughout his illustrious career, he has held various leadership positions, with his tenure as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of IAC spanning from 1995 to late 2010.
Prior to his time at IAC, Mr. Diller served as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Fox, Inc. from October 1984 to April 1992, during which he oversaw the creation of Fox Broadcasting Company and the company's motion picture operations.
Before joining Fox, Mr. Diller spent 10 years as the Chairman and Chief Executive of Paramount Pictures Corporation. In March 1983, he was also appointed President of the conglomerate's newly formed Entertainment and Communications Group, which included Simon & Schuster, Inc., Madison Square Garden Corporation, and SEGA Enterprises, Inc.
Mr. Diller's earlier career saw him serve as Vice President of Prime Time Television for ABC Entertainment. In addition to his impressive corporate achievements, he has also made significant contributions to the world of theater, with credits including To Kill A Mockingbird; The Iceman Cometh; Carousel; Three Tall Women; A Doll's House, Part 2; The Humans; and Betrayal.
Through his foundation, Mr. Diller has supported various projects, including those for Roundabout Theatre Company, Signature Theatre, The Public Theater, and Motion Picture & Television Fund, as well as the creation of Little Island, a park and performance center in the Hudson River.
In addition to his philanthropic efforts, Mr. Diller serves on the boards of The Coca-Cola Company and MGM Resorts International, and is also a member of The Business Council.
