Leonard Barrie Corbin, professionally known as Barry Corbin, made his grand entrance into the world on October 16, 1940, in Lamesa, Texas. His parents, Kilmer Blain Corbin, a respected attorney and Texas State Senator, and Alma Corbin, a dedicated elementary school teacher, welcomed their little bundle of joy into the world. Growing up, Barry was surrounded by the rich cultural heritage of Texas, which would later influence his work as an actor.
Fast forward to the present, Barry shares a beautiful ranch in Fort Worth, Texas, with his loving wife Jo. When he's not busy bringing characters to life on the big and small screens, Barry can be found indulging in his passion for horse riding. He often spends his free time galloping across the open ranges of his ranch, finding solace and peace in the great outdoors.
