Biography

Barbara Kerr Condon, a multifaceted and accomplished actress, writer, and producer, has made a lasting impression in the entertainment industry. Her journey began at the tender age of 12, when she demonstrated her keen eye for selecting literary projects as a beloved panelist on CBS's highly rated Kid Critics.

With a passion for the performing arts, Barbara explored each medium, eventually finding her way onto the board of Women In Film and collaborating on several public service announcement campaigns for battered women's awareness. Her dedication to her craft led her to relocate to Worms, Germany, where her husband, Paul, was serving in the Army.

While in Germany, Barbara was "discovered" by someone with "producer" quality and quickly rose through the ranks to become the Director of The Performing Arts Theatre for the U.S. Army's facility. This experience, which involved producing for the largest theatre system in the world at the time, triple the size of London's West End or Broadway, instilled confidence in her abilities.

After relocating to Los Angeles, Barbara shifted her focus from stage to screen, taking on both acting and producing roles. Her television credits include co-starring roles on HBO's Big Love, NBC's ER, CBS's 7th Heaven, Lifetime's Unsolved Mysteries, NBC's The Others, and repeat appearances on The Tonight Show.

Barbara's filmography boasts a range of notable projects, including appearances in Universal's Red Dragon and The Coen brothers' Intolerable Cruelty, as well as supporting roles in films like Cineville's The Affair and Brooklyn Reptile's Boppin At The Glue Factory. Her own film project, Doria, which she executive produced and starred in, won the Flickering Image Festival in 2004.

In addition to her acting and producing work, Barbara has also been involved in various other projects. She co-produced and starred in Family, which had its premiere screening in February 2008, and later returned to the screen with her role as Mrs. Cee in My Homework Ate My Dog in July 2008.

Barbara has continued to work on various film projects, and was most recently nominated for Best Actress at the 168 Film Festival in 2022. She is currently working on the feature film version of her proof of concept romantic comedy, Three Times A Lady, which she produced in 2023.

Throughout her career, Barbara has been drawn to projects that have a positive impact on the world, and continues to be a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry.
