Upon arriving in Canada, Saeid Monir's academic endeavors continued to flourish, as she went on to receive her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Film Production from Simon Fraser University in 2005. This remarkable achievement was merely the precursor to her future successes, as she later earned her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and Film Production from the University of British Columbia in 2013.
