Atul Malhotra's professional journey began after graduating from Brunel University with a degree in Film & Media, where he showcased his talent through the short film "Stani Delirium". His impressive work did not go unnoticed, and he was subsequently recruited by Granada Television for their prestigious New Talent Training Scheme.
During his time at Granada, Atul honed his skills in Avid editing, while also utilizing his spare time to write, produce, and direct the short fiction film "If it don't kill ya...", which received rave reviews in the festival circuit. This achievement was followed by the creation of an award-winning documentary, "Big Time", which tells the compelling story of a dwarf rock band's struggle to be taken seriously in the music industry. The documentary was broadcast on the ITV network, further solidifying Atul's reputation as a talented filmmaker.
Since then, Atul has produced and directed a diverse range of documentaries, comedies, and entertainment content for the major UK television channels, including the BBC, Channel 4, ITV, Discovery, and Sky. His impressive directing credits include "Ross Kemp on Guns", "The Big Experiment", "The People's Book of Records", and "Solomon, The Escape Artist".
