Biography

Ashna, a multifaceted and accomplished individual, hails from Virginia and has made a name for herself as a celebrated storyteller and former pageant queen. With a rich cultural heritage shaped by her grandmother's refugee experience and her family's diverse backgrounds in India, Singapore, Uganda, and Oman, Ashna embodies the essence of a cosmopolitan, effortlessly adopting different cultures and personas with authenticity.

Born and raised in America, Ashna's linguistic abilities are as diverse as her cultural influences. She is fluent in Hindi and Urdu, languages she learned outside of English, and also possesses a proficiency in Spanish, acquired through her experiences living and working in Peru, as well as her formal education, which included five years of studying the language.

Growing up, Ashna was surrounded by the performing arts, thanks to her mother's stage presence at cultural events and her father's passion for photography and videography. This exposure sparked her own creative expression, and she began performing on stage at the tender age of four. As a classically trained dancer, Ashna has had the privilege of performing at esteemed venues, including the renowned Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., at the age of 14.

Through her dance training, Ashna developed a unique ability to express herself, which proved to be a valuable asset when she transitioned to acting. Her early start in the performing arts has instilled in her a deep understanding of the importance of storytelling and her ability to convey emotions through various mediums.
