Ashli Auguillard, also known as Ashli with an "i", is a talented actor from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, who hails from a small town. As the eldest of six siblings, she was raised by a strong and resilient mother, Kia Auguillard, who instilled in her the values of integrity and perseverance. With her mixed Creole, West African, and Native American heritage, Ashli stands out with her tall, athletic, and vivacious presence. Her ability to master regional and international accents and dialects allows her to bring a wide range of characters to life.
Ashli has made a name for herself as a new comedic face on HBO's Curb Your Enthusiasm, holding her own alongside Larry David, Lucy Liu, and other notable actors. She has also appeared in guest-starring and recurring roles on USA Network, BET, Hallmark Channel, Facebook Watch, and Screambox TV. In addition to her acting skills, Ashli is a certified tactical shooter and wire stunt pro, with a range of special skills including stand-up comedy, improv, singing, rapping, dancing, and volleyball.
Growing up in poverty, Ashli's route to the arts was through academics. Her perfect grades earned her a spot in the state's gifted program at age 11, where she landed her first theatrical role in the stage production of "The Miser". She continued to excel, landing the lead role in the production of "Here We Sit" at the age of 12. After completing the program, Ashli reignited her passion for acting in high school, where she became a popular member of the drama club, winning awards for her performances in "The Colored Museum" and "Live and in Color".
At 17, Ashli moved to Nevada alone to attend UNLV, where she landed the role of "Juanita Sims" in the production of "For Colored Girls Who've Considered Suicide". She soon returned to Louisiana to attend LSU, double majoring in biology and theatre. Ashli made the bold move to California in 2014, studying at the Baron Brown Studio in their intensive 2-year Meisner program. After completing her training, she was selected by an industry masterclass panel for her live portrayal of "Cleo" in "Set It Off", which caught the attention of talent manager Michelle Zeitlin.
Today, Ashli continues to be managed by Michelle Zeitlin, represented theatrically by SDB Partners, commercially by Taylor Talent Services, and represented for local hire work in the Southeast by Del Corral and Associates.
