This prestigious commission, awarded by the Governor and Secretary of State, acknowledges her remarkable contributions and commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of others.
Tragedy struck in 2010 when her father passed away, leaving a profound impact on her life. In response, she found solace in acting, pouring her heart and soul into her craft as a means of coping with her grief. Her dedication to her work is unwavering, and she is always ready to take on new challenges and projects that allow her to grow and evolve as an artist.
Born with a competitive spirit, she was encouraged by her two older athletic brothers to push herself to new heights. Her own athletic pursuits included cheering, basketball, softball, volleyball, tennis, and golf, which she cherishes deeply due to her father's love for the sport. This appreciation for the game and the memories it holds with her father has become a cherished aspect of her life.
Outside of her acting career, she is a devoted mother to her daughter and enjoys spending quality time with her, as well as pursuing her hobbies of playing guitar, singing, and writing. Her small-town upbringing has instilled in her a warm and welcoming nature, and she has a natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life, earning her the nickname "a true southern belle who never meets a stranger."
