Artur Barcis, a Polish actor and director, embarked on his theatrical journey after graduating from the prestigious National Film, Television and Theatre School in Lodz in 1979. Initially, he honed his craft at the Targowek Theater from 1979 to 1981, before moving on to the National Theater from 1982 to 1984.
It was in 1984 that Barcis joined the esteemed Ateneum Theater in Warsaw, where he has since established himself as a talented and versatile actor. One of his most notable achievements is his work in the children's show Okienko Pankracego, which has contributed significantly to his widespread popularity.
Moreover, Barcis is perhaps best known for his captivating performance in the popular TV series Miodowe lata (1998),where he brought to life the character of Tadeusz Norek. Furthermore, from 2006 to 2016, he portrayed Arkadiusz Czerepach in the comedy series Ranczo, showcasing his impressive range as a comedic actor.
In addition to his television endeavors, Barcis was a participant in the eleventh edition of the entertainment program Taniec z gwiazdami (2005). Unfortunately, he was forced to withdraw from the competition during the seventh episode due to a leg injury, which undoubtedly dampened his spirits.
