Aron Horvath, a talented individual, was born in 1991 in Slovenia to a bilingual household, surrounded by the rich cultural heritage of the Hungarian minority. As a youngster, he was an integral part of the Slovenian national youth swimming team from 2003 to 2008, showcasing his remarkable athleticism and dedication.
As he matured, Horvath pursued his passion for filmmaking, graduating in 2016 from the Academy of Theatre, Radio, Film and Television in Ljubljana with a degree in film directing. He continued to hone his craft, earning a master's degree in film studies in 2021.
Throughout his career, Horvath has directed a diverse range of short films, including his latest project, Bits, which premiered in 2020 at the 23rd Festival of Slovenian Film, where it garnered the prestigious Best Short Film award. Subsequently, Bits was showcased at numerous international film festivals, solidifying Horvath's reputation as a rising talent in the industry.
Looking ahead, Horvath is set to make his feature-length directorial debut with his upcoming film, Lost Years, a highly anticipated project that promises to showcase his growth as a filmmaker.
