Aristide Demonico's theatrical journey began with classical training as an actor under the tutelage of renowned masters Julien Bertheau and Denis d'Inès. As the 1960s unfolded, he became an integral part of the vibrant Parisian theatrical, scene joining the team at the Théâtre Gérard Philipe de Saint Denis at its inception, and subsequently collaborating with esteemed directors such as Pierre Débauche and Gabriel Garran.
Throughout his career, Demonico worked under the guidance of an impressive array of directors, including Julien Bertheau, José Valverde, Edmond Tamiz, Georges Goubert, Stéphane Ariel, and many others. His repertoire featured an eclectic mix of playwrights, with performances of works by Arthur Adamov, Oliver Goldsmith, Sean O'Casey, Gorki, Marivaux, Molière, and Shakespeare.
From 1965 to 1969, Demonico took on the role of producing "poetic" activities at the TGP, overseeing the creation of several shows centered around the works of renowned poets, including Mayakovsky, Rimbaud, Apollinaire, and Jacques Prévert. These productions would later be performed at the esteemed Vieux Colombier, with the celebrated actor Mouloudji.
In the early 1970s, Demonico directed the theatrical activities of the Maison de la culture de Bourges for a period of two and a half years, solidifying his reputation as a talented and versatile theatrical figure.
