Phillips is a multifaceted creative professional based in Wellington, New Zealand, boasting a Master's degree in Scriptwriting from Victoria University of Wellington. She has garnered numerous international accolades for her outstanding work in both writing and directing short films.
As a talented actress, Phillips has appeared in various feature films, including Alex Galvin's "Eternity" and two Sir Peter Jackson films, "The Lovely Bones" and "The Frighteners". She has also had lead roles in several television series, including the comedy series "Girl vs Boy" (series 3 - 2014),produced by Emmy Award-winning KHF Media, where she portrayed a deranged high school headmistress.
Phillips has written and starred in the films "Letter for Hope" and "Utu Pihikete", which premiered at several US film festivals and received awards at the Indie Fest, Best Shorts, Sunset Film Festival, and Accolades film competitions.
Throughout her career, Phillips has been recognized with Best Actress nominations at the Madrid International Film Festival and Short Film Awards, New York (SOFIES).
