Biography

April Maiya, a talented individual, had the privilege of growing up in the vibrant city of Los Angeles, California. It was during her formative years in this culturally rich environment that she began her professional journey as a Music Supervisor for the esteemed Reginald Hudlin and Paramount Pictures.

Her directorial debut in the independent documentary "Chronicles of Junior M.A.F.I.A." in 2004 was a significant milestone in her career, as it featured notable rappers such as The Notorious B.I.G. and Junior M.A.F.I.A.

In 2007, April Maiya made a notable impact in the entertainment industry with the production and direction of "Life After Death: The Movie," a thought-provoking documentary that featured actor Jamie Hector as the narrator.
