Antonio de la Torre, a multifaceted individual with a passion for acting, pursued a degree in journalism, yet his true calling lay in the world of performance.
During his early career, Antonio worked as a sports journalist for Canal Sur Radio and Television, often traveling to Madrid to hone his craft at the Cristina Rota acting school.
His cinematic debut came in 1994 with a role in Los peeros años de nuestra vida, followed by notable performances in Padre Coraje and Lleno, por favor.
Antonio's impressive repertoire includes numerous Spanish short films, with frequent collaborations with directors Daniel Sánchez Arévalo and Álex de la Iglesia.
His breakthrough role came in 2006 with AzulOscuroCasiNegro, earning him the prestigious Goya Award for Best Secondary Actor.
In 2010, Antonio took on the leading role in Balada triste de trompeta, receiving a Goya nomination for his performance.
