Antonello, a multifaceted creative force, was born in 1981 in Cava De 'Tirreni, Italy. He now resides in Madrid, where he has established himself as a prominent producer and director of independent films and shorts.
In addition to his work in film, Antonello has also ventured into television directing, shooting, and editing video content for international broadcasts, commercials, and institutional videos. His impressive resume boasts a graduate degree in anthropology from the Sapienza University of Rome, where he completed a thesis on the relationship between cinema and culture in Spain from 1997 to 2007.
Antonello has had the privilege of participating in esteemed workshops and courses alongside renowned filmmakers and industry professionals, including Kiarostami, Cecchi D'Amico, Escalle, Storaro, Ferrara, Age, Monicelli, Pontecorvo, Eco, Zuazua, and others.
Currently, he is in the post-production stage of his debut film as director, Blue Lips, and is working on the program for Mexican TV Canal 10's Chiapanecos Por El Mundo. Antonello's outstanding contributions to the audiovisual industry have earned him a prestigious "Knighthood of Youth" from the Province of Salerno, Italy.
His short films and movies have been showcased in hundreds of festivals worldwide, including the USA, Chile, Peru, Australia, India, and China. Antonello's work as a producer and director has garnered approximately three hundred awards and accolades, with notable recognition from celebrities such as Francis Ford Coppola, Rutger Hauer, Asia Argento, Enrico Lo Verso, and Alejandro Jodorowsky.
