Biography

Anthony Crivello is a renowned actor, celebrated for his impressive range and skill on stage and screen. He has received numerous prestigious awards, including Broadway's Tony Award, Chicago's Jefferson Award, a Carbonelle Award, a Footlights Award, and nominations for three Jefferson, two Canadian Dora Mavor Moore, LA's Ovation, Drama Critics, Robbie, Garland, and Friends of New York Theater Awards. He is a member of The Actor's Studio in NYC/Los Angeles.

In film, Crivello has appeared in a wide range of roles, including police Chief D. W. Johnson in "The Omro heist" (2025),alongside Kevin Kline in "Trade," and in "Independence Day" (1996) alongside Bill Pullman, Jeff Goldblum, and Will Smith. He has also appeared in "Material Girls" (2006) opposite Hilary and Hailey Duff, with Angelica Houston, "Texas Rangers" (2001) opposite Alfred Molina, Usher, and Ashton Kutcher, "Jane Austin's Mafia!" (1998),"Spellbinder" (1988) opposite Kelly Preston, Tim Daily, and Rick Rossovich, and "Crocodile Dundee II" (1988) with Paul Hogan.

Crivello has also starred in several independent films, including Gil Wadsworth's dark comedy "The Glass Jar" (1999-2000),which was an official selection at 11 film festivals, and Will Wallace's independent comedy "Spanish Fly" (2003),which won the 'Best Comedy Feature' award at the Dallas' Deep Ellum Film Festival. His short films include "The Mark" (2001),which premiered at the New York City ShortFest, and "Henry Toy" (2002),which won the Award of Excellence at the La Jolla Film Festival.

On television, Crivello has appeared in a variety of roles, including recurring as officious butler "Sebastian" in Disney's anthology comedy "Pretty Freekin Scary" (2023),and as British Academy Award-winning director David Lean in the FOX21 miniseries "Feud: Betty and Joan" (2017),directed by Ryan Murphy. He has also starred in "Emma's Chance" (2018) for The Hallmark Channel, and appeared in HBO's Emmy Award-winning "Behind the Candelabra" (2013) starring Michael Douglas and Matt Damon.
