Anthony Campanello was born on April 7th in Cincinnati, Ohio, to parents Anthony and Nancy Campanello. From a tender age of three, he exhibited a flair for the dramatic, mimicking the iconic moves of Michael Jackson from the "Thriller" music video. As a young boy, Anthony was an athletic whiz, participating in baseball, basketball, and football, and lettering on the nationally-ranked Moeller Crusader football team at Cincinnati Moeller High School. He was also an accomplished wrestler and member of the school's wrestling team.
Anthony's academic pursuits led him to Bowling Green State University, where he majored in Psychology and The Arts. During his time at BGSU, he took to the stage, appearing in several plays, including the leading role of Brick in Tennessee Williams' "Cat On A Hot Tin Roof." This experience had a profound impact on him, and he credits it with sparking his passion for acting.
After earning his college degree, Anthony made the move to Hollywood, where he secured several modeling assignments, including campaigns for Abercrombie & Fitch and Gatorade. He went on to land roles in various TV shows, such as "Nip/Tuck," "Next," "Smallville," and "Dawson's Creek," in which he played the boyfriend of actress Katie Holmes.
Anthony's film credits include the upcoming indie feature "Lost Dream," alongside Patricia Richardson and Jeremy London, as well as a supporting role in the indie feature "Under The Gaydar." His breakthrough role came in the film "Redefining Normal," in which he played the lead character Tony, marking his first starring film role.
In addition to his acting endeavors, Anthony is also known for his dedication to philanthropic causes. He has participated in numerous marathons that benefit various children's charities. Anthony has received training at the prestigious Lesly Kahn Studio, further honing his craft as a talented actor.
