Anthea Kennedy's academic background is comprised of a solid foundation in fine art, which she pursued at Leeds Polytechnic, a reputable institution renowned for its artistic programs. Subsequently, she further honed her skills in film at the prestigious Royal College of Art in London, a hub for creative excellence.
Kennedy's body of work is predominantly focused on exploring the complexities of German history, memory, and the significance of place. Her artistic endeavors are not limited to her own creative pursuits, as she has also shared her expertise as a lecturer at various esteemed universities and arts schools throughout the UK.
Currently, Kennedy's professional endeavors are divided between her own artistic practice and her role as a part-time lecturer, where she imparts her knowledge of 16mm film and video to students in London.
