Annie's remarkable journey in the entertainment industry began in her hometown of New York, where she graduated from Brooklyn College and landed a role in the Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical "Dance With Me", directed by the legendary Joel Zwick, just after her graduation.
Following this decisive start, Annie went on to appear in numerous Broadway and Off-Broadway shows, including "Knockout", "Moonwalk", "To Bury A Cousin", "Emma Instigated Me", and "Myths of America Smith" at Ellen Stewart's La Mama.
As Annie and her family relocated to Los Angeles, she seized the opportunity to break into the world of episodic television, landing a recurring role as the irreverent Judge Janice Neiman on the iconic show "LA Law", a position she held for an impressive 10 years.
Annie's work in television also included playing the lead in Antwone Fisher's directorial debut, "My Summer Friend", winner of the 2010 Los Angeles Jewish Film Festival's Best Short, as well as DGA-nominated five-hour miniseries "The Beach Boys" and "The Gin Game" alongside Mary Tyler Moore and Dick Van Dyke.
More recently, Annie has appeared in films such as "The Fall" and "Upon Waking", starring alongside Jocelyn Hudon, Robin Gammell, Sherilyn Fenn, and Emelia Hartford. Her recent television appearances include a 3-month arc on "General Hospital" and guest stars in "BOSCH: Legacy" and the "Frasier" reboot streaming on Paramount+.
Annie is also a dedicated member of the Interact Theatre Company, where she has appeared in numerous award-winning productions, including "Counsellor-At-Law", "A Little Night Music", "Into The Woods", "Urinetown", and "Death of A Salesman". She won an ADA Best Actress Award for her role as Mama in "'night, Mother".
In 2013, Annie premiered her first solo show as a writer, "Giving Up Is Hard To Do", directed by Joel Zwick, which was produced by the Victory Theatre Center and ran until 2018.
