Annette's journey in the performing arts began at the tender age of six, when she started dancing and singing with a competitive folk group that she remained a part of until the age of 14.
As she entered her teenage years, Annette transitioned to modeling, where she attended competitions around the world, showcasing her skills on the runway and in print. Her agency sent her to various events, and she went on to win top awards in her age category.
Despite her success as a model, Annette's true passion has always been acting. She is a graduate of The Randolph Academy of the Performing Arts, Triple Threat Program, and has been actively booking work for nearly four years.
During this time, she has had the privilege of working with her favorite Canadian actor, Jay Baruchel, on a promo for his TV show "Man Seeking Women". She also had the opportunity to perform with David Ayer on the set of Suicide Squad, where she impressed him with her skills and was considered for a role in the film.
Last year, Annette completed filming her first feature film, "BITE", in which she played a lead role. The movie was accepted into 23 film festivals around the world in just six months and was released in select theaters in the United States, premiering on various video-on-demand platforms in May.
As of September 6, 2016, "BITE" was available to stream on all Canadian VOD platforms and was released on DVD in Canada. Annette was also fortunate enough to receive distribution through WildEye Releasing for her second feature film, "Secret Santa", in which she played the main lead.
Her performance in "Secret Santa" earned her her first award in acting, Best Actress in a Feature Film, at the 2016 Shock Stock Film Festival and Convention in London. "Secret Santa" will always hold a special place in her heart, as it marked a significant milestone in her career.
