Biography

Tokyo-born Suzuki An is a Japanese actress with a storied past, having begun her career as a child-actress, yet still managed to shine in the successful film Hana And Alice, where she played a schoolgirl alongside Aoi Yu, a role she would revisit in 2015.

An's educational background is marked by her attendance at the prestigious Horikoshi High School, an institution that counts Aoi Yu among its alumni, and later, Wako University.

In addition to her acting career, Suzuki An has also made an impact in the American film Snow Falling On Cedars, released in 1999.

Her talent was recognized at the 26th Japanese Academy Awards, where she was declared Best Newcomer for her role in Returner (2002).
