Biography

Noted British soprano Anne Dawson has garnered widespread recognition for her captivating performances in a diverse array of operatic productions throughout her illustrious career. Among her most notable and critically acclaimed roles are those in Benjamin Britten's Owen Wingrave, first performed in 2001, as well as her portrayals of the title character in Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's Pique Dame, which premiered in 1992, and the iconic role of Bessie Boulton in Arthur Sullivan's Trial by Jury, which debuted in 1984.
