Biography

Angelina Jolie is a renowned actress, humanitarian, and philanthropist. Born Angelina Jolie Voight in Los Angeles, California, she began her acting career at a young age, studying at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute and later joining the Met Theatre Group in Los Angeles.

Jolie's early roles in films such as Hackers (1995) and Foxfire (1996) received critical acclaim, and she went on to win a Golden Globe Award and an Emmy nomination for her role in the HBO production Gia (1998). Her breakthrough role in Girl, Interrupted (1999) earned her the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
