Biography

Angela's journey in the world of acting began at the tender age of nine, when she stumbled upon a community theatre audition with a neighbor, and to her surprise, landed the role of Lucy in The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe. This serendipitous discovery ignited a passion within her that would drive her to pursue her dreams of becoming an actress.

As she grew older, Angela sought to hone her craft by hiring a private acting coach, Karen LaVoie, at the age of 20. Her hard work and dedication paid off when she was accepted into The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. However, she decided not to attend the prestigious institution and instead chose to take her talents to Los Angeles, where she was picked up by the Cosden Morgan Agency.

Angela's impressive resume boasts a range of credits, including extra work and small roles in various television and film productions. She has worked with renowned studios such as Warner Brothers, Paramount Pictures, and HBO, and has shared the screen with notable actors like Jimmy Fallon. Her extensive experience also includes co-starring roles in two independent films, Dream Girl and The Inglewood Project, as well as appearances in NBC's Dog Eat Dog and The John Walsh Project.

However, Angela's life took a dramatic turn in 2002 when she met the love of her life, Shawn Sweet, in North Carolina. This chance encounter led her to relocate to the East Coast and shift her focus from acting to personal training and print modeling. She worked with prominent brands such as IBM, Ashley Furniture, and Oxygen fitness magazine, and even founded her own franchise, "The Fitness Studio," in 2007.

Angela's entrepreneurial spirit and passion for physical fitness led her to expand her business to three locations, which she eventually sold in 2012 when her family relocated to Texas. Today, she and her husband, Shawn, own and operate Sweet Financial Group, LP, and are proud parents of two children.

Throughout her journey, Angela has remained committed to honoring God and using her talents to serve as a vessel for His message. She is grateful for the opportunity to be a part of the Stronger film project and is confident that it will bring truth, comfort, and hope to those who watch it.
