Amy Orsini is an American professional wrestler, bodybuilder, and mixed martial artist, widely recognized by her ring name Riptide. With a distinguished career spanning numerous North American independent promotions, including Women's Extreme Wrestling, Ohio Valley Wrestling, and Extreme Championship Wrestling, she made a notable impact as The Prodigette, managing the stable "Sideshow Freaks" during the latter years of the promotion.
Orsini made her debut in Women Superstars Uncensored (WSU) in September, introduced by Missy Hyatt on her interview segment "Missy's Manor." During the interview, she was confronted by wrestler Rick Cataldo, whom she attacked when he attempted to interrupt her. Moments later, she was challenged by former tag team partner Amy Lee, agreeing to face her the following week.
Their match saw Orsini secure a pinfall victory over Lee mere seconds after hitting her with a DDT, only for the arena lights to suddenly go out and Lee to be attacked by a masked wrestler. The masked wrestler, revealed to be Mercedez Martinez, joined forces with Orsini to attack Lee, sparking a feud that would last for several weeks.
Orsini's subsequent feud with Lee and Luna Vachon led to a series of intense matches, culminating in a WSU Championship victory over Nikki Roxx on May 31, 2008. Orsini held the title until March 7, 2009, when she lost it to Martinez in a bullrope match.
Orsini's impressive streak continued with a victory in the third-annual WSU Women's J-Cup Tournament on April 10, 2009, defeating Annie Social, Trixxie Lynn, and Rain in succession. This achievement earned her a title shot against Martinez, which resulted in a 70-minute ironwoman match that Martinez ultimately won.
Following a brief alliance with Rain, Orsini would go on to feud with her before teaming up with longtime rival Martinez to win the tag team titles in November 2009. In 2010, Orsini returned to the J-Cup tournament finals, only to lose to Alicia.
Orsini's entrepreneurial spirit led her to create the "All Guts & No Glory Championship" at "WSU When the Tigers Broke Free" in August 2010, successfully defending the title against Awesome Kong via disqualification. Throughout the remainder of 2010, Orsini continued to defend the title against various opponents, including Alicia, Jamilia Craft, and the Cosmo Club.
On January 22, 2011, Orsini faced Martinez once again, this time in a ladder match with both the WSU Championship and the All Guts & No Glory Championship on the line, seeking to unify the titles. Unfortunately, Martinez emerged victorious, securing the main event of WSU's Final Chapter iPPV.
