Person Biography:
Born with a passion for storytelling, he embarked on a journey to hone his skills in social communication and journalism at the esteemed Universidad de La Sabana, where he majored in investigative journalism. After completing his studies, he kicked off his career as a producer and camera director at Caracol Televisión, spending eight years working on the entertainment programs No me lo cambie and También caerás.
His dedication to his craft led him to transition into investigative journalism, writing, and anchoring at Univision 14's newscast in San Francisco, California, a role he held from 2000 to 2006. During his time at Univision 14, he received two prestigious awards for his exceptional work.
In 2004, he was awarded the AWRT Gracie Allen Award (New York) in the In the New Story-Single category for his outstanding piece, Busco Trabajo/Cooperativa, which was produced by Univision 14. Additionally, he received the NMC EXPO (SACRAMENTO) Best Investigative/ In-Depth (Broadcast) award in the Mixtecos category for his powerful piece, El juicio del silencio, which was produced by New California Media.
