Andy Demetrio is a multifaceted British actor and screenplay writer, boasting an impressive array of credits across film, television, and theatre. His notable roles include appearances in Michael Bay's "The Last Ship", J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek: Into Darkness", and Jed Rigney's "Nowhere Girl".
One of his most acclaimed performances was as Terry in the award-winning TV series "The Full English", which earned him the outstanding lead actor award at the 2014 LA Web Festival. He has also received praise for his portrayal of "Papas" in Ilias Pilastiros' story of a priest grappling with a troubled past.
Andy's impressive repertoire of strong lead roles includes the charismatic and narcissistic Ray in "The Men's Room" and the tenacious detective Dave Kugan in the UK's number one play adaptation of Christopher McQuarrie's "The Usual Suspects".

Born in London, England, to Greek Cypriot immigrants Michael Demetriou and Christine Marcou, Andy is the youngest of four brothers, including Theo, Dino, and Mario, who hail from Muswell Hill, North London. Raised in a traditional Greek Orthodox Christian household, family values and religion played a significant role in his upbringing.
Andy's passion for acting was evident from a young age, and with the support of his family, he auditioned for and was accepted into the prestigious Italia Conti academy of Theatre Arts at the age of eleven. He went on to study method acting at the famous Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute and the Meisner technique.
Throughout his career, Andy has been recognized for his unique and passionate talents on stage and screen, expertly balancing performance delivery and transitioning seamlessly from stage to film.
