Andrew Wright is a multifaceted British-Canadian creative force, boasting a diverse array of skills that span the realms of direction, writing, production, editing, music, and sound design.
Initially hailing from the United Kingdom, Wright's early endeavors revolved around the music industry, where he founded a record label, penned songs, and produced techno and drum & bass tracks under the moniker The Moog and in collaboration with Justice & Mercy.
However, the economic downturn in the UK in the early 1990s compelled Wright to pivot and explore alternative career paths. He transitioned into the field of Information Technology, yet his passion for music and his boundless imagination remained unwavering.
As Wright's experiences within the UK rave scene began to take shape, he penned a feature-length screenplay, drawing inspiration from his own experiences and the vibrant atmosphere of the era.
In 2006, Wright relocated to Toronto, Canada, where he embarked on a new creative journey. He assembled a cast and crew to bring his web series and feature film, Belushi's Toilet, to life. Wright's dual roles as director and editor allowed him to exercise his creative vision, while his continued involvement in Toronto-based productions has solidified his status as a respected and versatile filmmaker.
