Biography

Andrew Stevens, President/CEO of Andrew Stevens Entertainment and Stevens Entertainment Group, has a remarkable career spanning over two decades in the film industry. He has produced and/or financed over 180 films through his various production and distribution companies. With his unique experience in almost every capacity, from creative development to foreign sales, distribution, post-production, deliveries, and collections, Stevens is an accomplished screenwriter, director, and producer.

Throughout his career, Stevens has been involved in various successful projects, including the production and/or arrangement of financing for over 30 motion pictures. Some of his notable films include Send It!, All Good Things, 47 Hours, Half Past Dead 2, Walking: Tall, Lone Justice, and several SyFy Channel films.

Prior to founding Andrew Stevens Entertainment, Stevens co-founded and served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Franchise Pictures, an independent film production and distribution company. During his tenure, he produced or executive produced over 60 feature films, including The Whole Nine Yards, The Whole Ten Yards, The In-Laws, and many others.

Stevens has also co-founded and served as President of Phoenician Entertainment, which produced films such as The Third Miracle, Entropy, and Woman Wanted. Before Franchise and Phoenician, Stevens was the owner and president of Royal Oaks Entertainment, which produced and/or distributed 70 pictures over a three-year period.

In addition to his work in the film industry, Stevens is a successful real estate developer and has written songs for film and television. He has also been involved in community service, working with elderly patients with dementia, and has explored the world of E-Sports.

Stevens serves on the board of directors of the International Film and Television Alliance and has been involved in guild negotiations with the Screen Actors Guild and the Directors Guild of America. He is a former Chairman of the Independent Producers Association and has been a key architect of the current DGA/IPA multi-tiered low-budget agreement.

As an award-winning actor, Stevens has received a Golden Globe nomination and the Star of Tomorrow award from the National Association of Theatre Owners. He has starred in over 80 feature films and television series and has authored several books on filmmaking, including "Foolproof Film School", "Foolproof Filmmaking", "Producing for Profit", and "Screenwriting for Profit".
