In 2013, Shepherd emerged as one of the top 10 shortlisted candidates among over 2,000 applicants vying for the coveted position of the next Blue Peter presenter on the popular CBBC show Blue Peter - You Decide!
Currently, Shepherd is most recognized for his on-camera work, particularly on UKTV's Dave, where he has anchored coverage of David Haye's comeback fights and the Red Bull Cliff Diving World Series. Additionally, he has also worked with Channel 5, providing commentary for BAMMA events.
