Andrew Knott, a talented individual, was born on November 22nd, 1979, in Salford, Greater Manchester, England. His journey in the world of acting commenced at a young age, with appearances in various British television and radio programs. As he grew older, he refined his craft at The Oldham Theater Workshop, laying the foundation for his future success.
Knott's breakthrough in the film industry came with his role in The Secret Garden (1993),where he had the opportunity to share the screen with the esteemed Maggie Smith. This experience was followed by his appearance in Black Beauty (1994),a Warner Brothers production that further solidified his position in the industry.
After a brief hiatus from the big screen, Knott returned to the theater in 2004, taking on the role in "The History Boys". The National Theater production of this play later embarked on a global tour, marking Knott's debut on the Broadway stage.
