Andrew Hawkes, a renowned American actor, has been actively involved in the entertainment industry for over twenty-five years, with a diverse range of work spanning stage, film, television, and voice-over.
Hawkes recently made a guest appearance as Marcus Leonard in the Season 7 premiere of ABC's The Rookie, and he will be seen in the upcoming feature film Finding Faith, which is set to release this spring.
Early in his career, Hawkes made his feature film debut in Kounterfeit (1996),playing the role of Tommy "Hopscotch" Hopkins, and also voiced Siegfried in the TV special Legend of Sarmoti: Siegfried & Roy. He then went on to appear in a number of films, including Dogtown (1997),Sinbad: The Battle of Dark Knights (1998),Interceptor Force (1999),The Hunter's Moon (1999),and Contagion (2002).
With a prolific career in television, Hawkes has had the opportunity to work on a wide range of shows, including Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, ER, JAG, Without a Trace, CSI, Dexter, Community, Numb3rs, NCIS, and Chicago PD, to name a few.
In addition to his work in film and television, Hawkes has also had a successful career in theatre. He has performed in a number of productions, including Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Steppenwolf Theatre Company),Killer Joe (The Theatre, Chicago),Bug (Lost Angels Theatre Company, LA),Hellcab (Original cast, Famous Door Theater Company),and Never Come Morning (Prop Theatre, Chicago),for which he received a Joseph Jefferson Award Citation for Actor in a Principal Role.
In his personal life, Hawkes is married to writer Sasha Hawkes, and they have two children, Emma and Jackson, who are his greatest source of inspiration.
