Biography

Andreas Reihse, a Cologne-based musician, is one of the founding members of the German music group Kreidler.

As a teenager, he received lessons in organ-playing and went on to study Media-science, German language and literature, Philosophy, and Audio-visual communications.

In addition to his music career, Reihse has also performed as an actor in various projects, including films by Alexij Koshkarov, Lothar Hempel, and Justus Köhncke, as well as in the theatre play I Will.

Reihse works as a DJ and has released music under various aliases, including April, Binford, Darkpark, Kreidler, and asla!NEU?, a project he collaborated on with Klaus Dinger and others.

He has also composed soundtracks for numerous films and theatre productions, including Remote Track Down, Yoko Ono at Galerie Vostell, Haareschneiden, Vodka Makes Us Very Very Happy, Verflüssigung, Fashion In Zero Gravity, Durchfahrtsland/RemoteArea/Terre de Transit, Musik für Trude, Come Dance With Me At The Edge Of Time And Space, Friday Late Twilight, Live At The Weasel, and Kita-Preis 2006.
