Early Life:
Andria Savio was born on February 27, 1963, in Manhattan, New York. Raised as a Catholic in New Canaan, Connecticut, she grew up in a beautiful modern house designed by her father, Dino Savio. Andria Savio is the daughter of Vicki Savio Valley, a former ballerina for the New York City Ballet and winner of the best artist of the year award from the Museum of Modern Art in the early 1970s. Her mother became a ballet teacher after her choreography days for Off-Broadway. Andria's father, Dino Savio, was an industrial designer for IBM, Seth Thomas, and Westinghouse, and he also designed sets for Off-Broadway productions. Andria's grandmother, Eleanor, was an original Rockette in the ballet chore of The Ziegfeld Follies and danced with Fred Astaire in Bandwagon on Broadway.
