Cedric, a Beaumont, Texas native, graduated from West Side High School in his hometown. He furthered his education by earning a Bachelor's degree in Communications with a minor in Theater from Prairie View A&M University. During his freshman year, Cedric was a founding member of the trio Rapor, alongside Andre and Jeff. Rapor's impressive performance earned them the Homecoming Talent Showcase title, a first for a freshman group. The trio continued to perform together for two more years after Jeff's departure, but eventually disbanded when Cedric chose not to return to school. Andre went on to pursue a solo career, releasing his debut album "This is Andre" on Unitan Records.
Throughout his academic, athletic, and musical journey, Cedric accumulated numerous awards and accolades. He was recognized as Best Male Vocalist (both solo and group),Outstanding Freshman Male, and Most Handsome. Cedric's theatrical skills were also showcased as a member of the Charles Gilpin Players, an internationally renowned troupe. He took the stage at the Talent Showcase for the N.A.F.E.O. in Washington, D.C., further solidifying his talent.
